Youhoo, It's Youmail

This may seem like an advertisement, but it's not. Well I guess it is, but it's free, so maybe it's a favor? Youmail is custom voicemail. When I say custom voicemail, I mean custom voicemail. Let me explain.

Lets say you and I are good friends, and I have your phone number. You call me, and I can't pick up. It sends you to my voicemail, and you hear me say, "Hey (insert your name here), sorry I couldn't pick up, but I'll call you back I swear" Beeep. Then you're out with friends, and one of our mutual friends calls me, again, too busy to pick up, and our friend hears, "Hey (insert friends name here), I actually do want to talk to you, but I'll have to call you back, leave a message". Beeep.

So it's not ring-tones, it's not answer-tones, it's voicemail-tones? Something like that. It's really cool. Seriously. but it doesn't stop there.

You can record all of these custom for each number (or group of numbers), or just let youmail do it automatically based on the name that would show up on call waiting. They also have pre-recorded "voicemail-tones". Some professional, some funny, and thenthere are "others". You can assign it to one person, or a group. Cool. But it doesn't stop there.

If you have an ex that you don't want to talk to anymore. Put in their phone number(s), and assign them a ditchmail tone. It might say "This number has been disconnected" (or something much more cutting), and hang up on them. Too bad I didn't tell you about this before april fools. So again, very cool. But that's not all.

You can view your voicemail online. I mean that in two ways.
Number one: You can use it like the coveted visual voicemail and only listen to the ones you want. They also send you emails or text messages telling you who called and what their number is. In the emails you have the option to recieve the messages as mp3s. (Which you can embarrasingly email or share with anyone you please.)
Number two: Youmail will automatically write down what was said and email it to you, or send it as a text message.

It's really easy to use, and it's all free. Check it out. You'll love it.
